In connection with the ongoing renovation of the hotel building, retrofit insulation work has been planned, as well as the replacement of double glazing with low-energy windows with soundproofing. This means that our guests can enjoy a quiet and comfortable stay while focusing on energy consumption. The hotel's buildings are collectively classified with energy label C.
When cleaning rooms and common areas, we strive to use eco-labeled products and to limit the use of chemicals as much as possible.
All rooms have instructions and encouragement to conserve resources such as water, heating and electricity.
The hotel's waste is sorted into 10 fractions, for example, all bottles are sorted and sent for recycling, and cardboard and plastic are sorted for recycling. Food waste is eliminated as much as possible and all organic material is sorted separately, collected and used in biomass plants. In addition, waste is transported to local recycling facilities, where it is sorted and recycled as much as possible.
Working with local food suppliers whenever possible and with a continued focus on food safety. Organic products are used whenever possible. In the kitchen, trays made of recycled plastic are used for all takeaway orders.
At group level, investments have been made in a solar park with electricity production for approximately 2200 households.
