Hotel Hedemarken is located in eastern Grindsted, where everything is within easy reach. Billund, the children's capital, is 12 km away, where you will find Legoland, Legoland Holiday Village, Lego House, Lalandia, and Wow Park. This means there are plenty of opportunities to let the children loose in various playlands, water parks, and climbing parks! And for travelers, we are located close to Billund Airport.
Wildlife & Nature
The hotel is just a 30-minute drive from Givskud Zoo, where you can see wild animals and even drive in and see the lions. If you want a shorter trip, you can drive to "Dyrenes Verden" (Animal World) in Filskov, which is a mini zoo just 7 minutes from the hotel.
Experience nature in Grene Sande, located 10 minutes away from the hotel. This is a huge area of sand dunes where you can walk along the paths and enjoy nature. Gyttegård Golf Club is located along the same stretch, so if you want to swing your clubs, this is definitely a good place to start.
In Grindsted itself, we have the Magion sports center, where you can go swimming, play paddle tennis, and work out, among other things. If you like books, Grindsted Library may be the place for you. It is also located in Magion Grindsted.
